About Us

Opening Hours, Rules and Policies

Opening Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

7:45 am -4 pm

Wednesday

7:45 am - 1 pm

After School

You may stay after school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday until 4:40 pm if you have a CAS club, performance, sports activity or other VSA event that starts late. You may stay after school on Wednesday if you have SDS. You can also stay if you are waiting for a sibling who is staying late for any of the above reasons.

Library Rules

The library is a place for quiet individual study, research and reading.

  • Keep your voice low, and respect other people

  • No Food and Drink (exception: water in a bottle with a cap)

  • No gaming, board games or card games

  • If you are using a macbook, your screen should be facing out into the room so that it is visible

Borrowing Books, eReaders & Chargers

MYP students can borrow up to 4 English Books and 4 Chinese books for 2 weeks. Each book can be renewed once. YOu will receive an email whenever you have an overdue book. If your book is very overdue, your homeroom teacher will also receive an email. If your book is extremely overdue, your Head of Year and parents will be contacted.

DP students can borrow up to 8 English Books and 8 Chinese books for 4 weeks.

Kindles and Kobos can be borrowed for 2 weeks.

The Library has MacBook chargers that can be borrowed for 2 hours. Students must leave their student ID at the circulation desk when they borrow a charger.

Lost Books

If you lose a book, you will need to come to the library to pay the lost book replacement fee of 100 HKD per book. If you find the book before we purchase a replacement, you can claim a refund.
